Knoxville Tennessee

A day in Knoxville is an awesome and free entertainment if you're in Tennessee. Here are my itinerary for this trip.

1.  World's Fair Park
It is a beautiful park with plenty of activities and attractions located at 954 World's Fair Park Drive, Knoxville, TN 37916. Parking is free. There is a nice playground and splash pad for the kids so make sure you bring swimsuits and sunscreen for the little ones. Stroll along the sidewalk and visit the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial, amphitheatre and the Sunsphere.

2. Sunsphere Tower
A must see when in Knoxville. This tower is located in World's Fair Park and admission is free. The observation tower offers a great view of the park, amphitheatre, University of Tennessee and downtown.

They definitely need to clean this window!

3. Market Square
After spending few hours at the park, head to Market Square for more splash fun. The fountains here are much smaller compared to World's Fair Park. There are plenty of local shops in this area. This will be a good place to eat lunch or dinner before you leave Knoxville.
